Money spent on clothes: Remains -$35 despite purchase
Decided to return Old Navy Cosmos Pink skinny jeans as well. Remembered have three other shades of pink skinny jeans. Balance soared to -$75 dollars spent on clothes today. Really would be more practical to have Army green ("Heliotrope") pair instead. Online return/exchange completed and balance remains -$35.
Worried about how to keep readers interested with so many asinine, minute details of my struggle to commit to this cause. Once everything shakes out from returns and exchanges of recent binge shopping, promise to BUY NOTHING. Will save oodles of money, write terribly fascinating blog about it all, get inevitable book deal, and use book advance to buy dream house. All money saved in old-fashioned attempt to use hard earned cash for down payment will seem quaint and charming in comparison. If only Nora Ephron were still alive to direct the resulting movie adaptation of my blog/book.
